關(guān)于 InPlay

InPlay Inc is a fabless semiconductor company whose mission is to provide highly scalable, low-latency, low-power wireless communications technologies that unlock the vast potential of the VR/AR, healthcare and wireless industrial IoT markets. InPlay Inc specializes in wireless and mobile communication systems with unique technologies in RF, analog mixed-signal circuits, and low-power circuit design. The company has a research and development center in Irvine, California, with operations and business development in both the United States and China.

橙群微電子的聯(lián)合創(chuàng)始人兼CEO 吳群在拜訪客戶時(shí)，意識(shí)到市場(chǎng)上對(duì)惡劣射頻環(huán)境中許多節(jié)點(diǎn)之間低延時(shí)無線通信的需求有很大的痛點(diǎn)，需求尚未得到滿足。最初的需求出現(xiàn)在新興的AR/VR市場(chǎng)，后來發(fā)現(xiàn)此技術(shù)可以被擴(kuò)展應(yīng)用到包括從游戲和娛樂到工業(yè)機(jī)器人控制，再到教育和醫(yī)療保健的各種潛在應(yīng)用。2017年他邀請(qǐng)了在通信系統(tǒng)、數(shù)字設(shè)計(jì)、射頻設(shè)計(jì)、軟件設(shè)計(jì)、營(yíng)銷和運(yùn)營(yíng)領(lǐng)域擁有豐富專業(yè)知識(shí)的半導(dǎo)體行業(yè)老將們一起在美國(guó)加州組建了公司InPlay。2019年8月，InPlay于中國(guó)上海浦東新區(qū)臨港成立公司總部，設(shè)立上海橙群微電子有限公司。
從支持多個(gè)節(jié)點(diǎn)間低延時(shí)無線通信的關(guān)鍵知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)SMULL技術(shù)開始，橙群微電子現(xiàn)在正在構(gòu)建一個(gè)大的產(chǎn)品系列組合，以解決工業(yè)物聯(lián)網(wǎng)、智能家居和零售、游戲配件和醫(yī)療健康領(lǐng)域那些尚有痛點(diǎn)的需求。
