　　Description: Sliding the MLS-Sensors along a magnetic scale will produce a sine and a cosine output signal as a function of the position. In order to deliver satisfying results, this will be achieved as long as the air gap between sensor edge and magnetic scale surface does not exceed approximately half of the pole pitch. As the sensor principle is based on the anisotropic magneto resistance effect, the signal amplitudes are nearly independent on the magnetic field strength and therefore air gap variations do not have a strong effect on the accuracy. The sensor detects a magnetic gradient field and is thus almost insensitive to homogenous magnetic stray fields.

　　MLS傳感器沿著磁尺移動(dòng)將產(chǎn)生一個(gè)正弦和余弦信號(hào)。為了得到滿意的結(jié)果，傳感器邊沿與磁尺表面的間隙不能超過(guò)半個(gè)磁極距。由于傳感器是基于各向異性磁阻效應(yīng)，信號(hào)幅度是獨(dú)立于磁場(chǎng)強(qiáng)度的，因此間隙的不同不會(huì)影響測(cè)量精度。傳感器檢測(cè)磁場(chǎng)梯度，所以對(duì)均勻雜散磁場(chǎng)幾乎不敏感。
